Manchester is centrally positioned at the heart of Great Britain, making it easily accessible by road, rail, sea and air from anywhere in the UK, Europe and beyond.

By Rail

Manchester has two mainline train stations that service the region and the whole of the UK.

Piccadilly Railway Station is near Piccadilly Bus Station and is the closest to the Continuity venues.

By Coach

Coaches operate from the coach station at Manchester Central. This follows an extensive refurbishment of the site, formerly known as Chorlton Street Coach Station.

For those of you on a budget Megabus offers fares starting from 1 pound from many places in the UK

National Express services over 1,200 places across the UK.

 

By Air

Manchester Airport is ranked as one of the best in the world and is used by 100 airlines serving 175 international destinations.

Direct trains run approximately every ten minutes from Manchester Airport to Piccadilly Railway Station in the city centre between 5.40am - 11.30pm, then approximately every hour through the night. The approximate journey time is 25 minutes. The rail station at the Airport is adjacent to Terminal 1 International.

Liverpool John Lennon Airport is served by many budget airlines and has a direct bus route to Manchester city centre leaving at 30 minutes past the hour. Journey time is approximately 1:15 minutes .

 

By Car
